Permissions explained

onisRecipes uses the ACL from Joomla! for all the actions that can be done in the component. Below you will find the list with all the available actions and the description for each of them. The descriprion is for the action saved as "Allowed".

 Category - new  users can add new categories
 Category - do not moderate new category  users can add categories without administrator moderation
 Category - unlimited  users can add unlimited categories
 Ingredient - new  users can add new ingredients
 Ingredient - do not moderate new ingredient  users can add ingredients without administrator moderation
 Ingredient - unlimited  users can add unlimited ingredients
 Recipe - new  users can add new recipes
 Recipe - do not moderate new recipe  users can add recipes without administrator moderation
 Recipe - view  users can view recipes
 Recipe - edit  users can edit recipes, if own recipe or if user is administrator
 Recipe - delete  users can delete recipes, if own recipe or if user is administrator
 Recipe - unlimited  users can add unlimited recipes
 Recipe - add image  users can add recipe image, if own recipe or if user is administrator
 Recipe - view image  users can view recipes image
 Recipe - add to gallery  users can add images to recipes gallery
 Recipe - remove from gallery  users can remove images from recipes gallery, if own recipe or if user is administrator
 Recipe - view gallery  users can view image gallery from recipes
 Recipe - add comment  users can add comment on recipes
 Recipe - rate comment  users can rate comment from recipes
 Recipe - report comment  users can report comment from recipes
 Recipe - view comment  users can view comment from recipes
 Recipe - do not moderate new comment  users can add comment on recipes without administrator moderation
 Recipe - favorite  users can favorite recipes
 Recipe - privacy  users can set recipes privacy
 Recipe - rating  users can rate recipes
 Recipe - report  users can rate recipes
 Recipe - share  users can share recipes
 Recipe - view statistics  users can view recipes statistics
 Recipe - view suggestions  users can view suggested recipes: related or same recipe
 Recipe - terms and conditions  users needs to agree with terms and conditions when submitting recipes

Installation

Before installing onisRecipes, you can have a look at details about server's requirement.

To properly install onisRecipes into your Joomla! installation, follow these steps:

  1. Log-in to your profile then go to My downloads and download the component to your computer;
  2. Extract the files from the main archive;
  3. On the administrator are of your site, go to Extensions->Manage;
  4. On the Upload package file tab, click browse, select the archive from the folder with the component on your computer and click Upload & Install;
  5. After installation is done you have to enable the following modules (on all pages, position does not matter):
    • onisRecipes Ajax (site)
    • onisCore Ajax (site)
    • onisRecipes Ajax Administrator (administrator)
    • onisCore Ajax Administrator (administrator)
Note! Go to Extensions->Plugins, and make sure that System - Oniscore is enabled;

Getting started

After a successfull installation, the menu for onisRecipes now appears under Components tab on your administrator section of the site and can be managed from there:

The first thing to do after installation is to configure onisRecipes. To do that click on Preferences.
